The Appeal aims to raise £20 million to help fund projects within the new hospital. As well as providing parental accommodation within the hospital, it will fund the purchase of advanced equipment to improve diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses. Providing healthcare for over 150,000 children annually when it opens in 2009, it will be the largest children's hospital in the UK, and hopefully the best in the world.
With emphasis on the theme 'the extra mile', the charity is the perfect choice for The Trafford Centre which encourages staff to go that extra mile in their every day duties. Look out for a series of fundraising events taking place at the Centre raise money for this worthy cause.
